Darren P. Cross is a founder and principal of Cross Nadel LLC. He is highly experienced and knowledgeable in the areas of bankruptcy, immigration and trademark and copyright law.
After operating his own law firm in Boston for nearly fifteen years, Darren co-founded Cross Nadel LLC to provide individual and business clients with the same excellent service for which he is known in a more accessible and flexible setting. Darren has spent his career working compassionately and directly with clients to guide them through some of their most difficult and important financial, citizenship and business decisions. He thoroughly engages with clients to understand their goals, and collaborates with them to develop the right strategy to achieve those goals.
Darren helps individuals and businesses in financial distress understand all of their options and, if appropriate, to file for the protection of the bankruptcy laws. He represents them in all phases of their bankruptcy and/or alternative proceedings. Darren is well-versed in all aspects of Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 proceedings, and takes care to explain the requirements and processes to his clients clearly. He works side-by-side with clients to put together confirmable bankruptcy plans and to address concerns raised by creditors and others.
Darren also has experience litigating in the bankruptcy context and he frequently advises clients in financial distress on bankruptcy avoidance.
Darren helps his individual and business clients meet their immigration goals based on their distict situations and needs. He has developed a comprehensive knowledge of immigration law and dedicates himself to staying on top of the immigration landscape and how it affects his clients. Darren represents clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Executive Office for Immigration Review, the Board of Immigration Appeals and United States consular posts worldwide, and on appeal in the federal courts. His immigration practice focuses on family and business-based immigration, consular processing, employer sanctions/worksite enforcement, immigration audits, security checks, waivers of admissibility, and citizenship and naturalization.
